Eshleman Road under repair July 14 to 16

By Public Affairs

Eshleman Road, the campus lane running between Barrows and Moses Halls, will be closed Wednesday, July 14 until around 5 p.m., as will the parking areas between Moses and Stephens Halls.

Repair work will take three days. Part of the road is expected to be open to limited vehicle traffic on Thursday and Friday, July 15 and 16, when parking will also be available, except on Eshleman Road.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Pedestrians traveling in the area should use the sidewalk on the south side of Eshelman Road. Some of the repair work will be noisy, as it involves removing asphalt. Dust-control measures will be taken.

The repair work follows a break in a campus water line in early June, which did significant damage to the roadway.
