Campus to hold forums on changes in post-retirement benefits

By Public Affairs

Chancellor Robert Birgeneau will be hosting two campus forums on post-employment benefits next week.

A forum for staff will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Chevron Auditorium of International House. A forum for faculty will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Sibley Auditorium of the Bechtel Engineering Center.

The purpose of the forums is to help clarify information and answer questions on the implications of the proposed changes for employees and retirees and the financial implications for the university, and to encourage provision of feedback to UC decision-makers.

Further information about these forums, and the task force’s proposals, is available here.
