Gray and cold as the weather is right now, it may be hard to focus on summer camp. But summer’s not far off, and registration is already under way for some of Berkeley’s summer camp programs.

Swimming or science, writing or gardening, skateboarding or racking up college credits, there’s a lot of fun and learning woven into all of this year’s offerings.

Flexibility in scheduling is also a feature of summer camp, Berkeley style; some camps run all day, others just for a few hours.

The camps tend to fill up fast. Costs vary. And some registration and application deadlines are near.

Check the listings on the Berkeley summer camp website (http://uhs.berkeley.edu/facstaff/summercamps/), which has links to the various programs and phone numbers to call for more information.
