A free town hall to collect ideas will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at BAMPFA, 2155 Center St. in Berkeley.

Every year BAMPFA offers more than 20 art exhibitions, nearly 500 film programs and dozens of performances, lectures, symposia and tours. Its international collection features more than 19,000 works of art and 17,500 films and videos.

In January, BAMPFA moved from a location on Bancroft Way to its new home at the western entrance to campus and on the edge of the downtown Berkeley arts district, just a block from the Downtown Berkeley BART station.
