It’s been nearly a century since UC Berkeley researchers discovered vitamin E. Since then, many studies have looked at the potential health benefits of this antioxidant, which supplement makers (and some researchers) predicted would help prevent cancer, heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease, help maintain eyesight and keep skin glowing.
