Media advisory: Election eve and Election Day events

ATTENTION: Reporters covering the 2016 general election

WHO AND WHAT: A panel of University of California, Berkeley, political scientists and outside pollsters will gather to review the 2016 race for the White House and other political contests across the country on the evening before Election Day. Please register here to save a seat at the Monday, Nov. 7, program hosted by UC Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies.

The institute will also open its library to the public for free viewing of TV broadcasts of the voter turnout, polling returns and more, from California and across the country on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. Two student instructors of a fall semester DeCal class on women in historical and contemporary politics will be on hand, with some of their students.

WHERE: Institute of Governmental Studies Library, Room 109, Moses Hall, just south of the Campanile near the center of campus.
