Is Neptune’s newest moon a chip off the old block?

Hippocamp, a tiny moon and close partner of the larger moon Proteus, may have been kicked out of Proteus by a comet collision

Air Force ROTC lands on campus

With the creation of the U.S. Air Force in 1947, a new Air Force ROTC Program is offered at Berkeley in a newly-established Department of Air Science. The program’s home undergoes another name change in 1965 – the Department of Aerospace Studies. By the mid-1960s, this department is one of more than 150 located at select colleges and universities across the country. Together, the schools produce the majority of all new Air Force officers.
