Looking for more information about the proposed plastic bag ban, school bond measure, increasing tobacco taxes or other issues on the Nov. 8 general election ballot in California? The Institute of Governmental Studies’ library at UC Berkeley is offering voters help with an online California Ballot Measure Guide.

The information is published simultaneously at californiachoices.org and includes an interactive web tool showing ballot endorsements from political parties, newspapers, and advocacy organizations and enabling creation of a customized endorsement table to share with friends.

The library also maintains an extensive collection of print clippings and election ephemera, dating back decades.
