Open Enrollment, the annual period during which UC employees can make changes in their benefits, will begin next week, on Thursday, Oct. 29.
In preparation, the University of California has published the first details of its benefit plans for 2016, including costs for health insurance. All current health plans will be available, and small changes have been made to some benefit programs.
More details will be rolled out over the next two weeks, before Open Enrollment opens at 8 a.m. Oct. 29. Employees will have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, to lock in their benefits for the upcoming year.
