Charter Day: Happy Birthday, UC Berkeley!

In celebration of Charter Day, marking UC's 143rd birthday, students consumed a large quantity of free cupcakes Friday on Sproul Plaza. The University of California was founded in 1868, and soon set up shop at Berkeley.
