University of California President Mark G. Yudof will speak on Friday, May 6, at a state Senate Budget Committee hearing on the economic and business impacts of proposed education budget cuts.
Yudof will talk about how UC plans to cope with a proposed state reduction of $500 million, and what an all-cuts budget would mean for the university. He will also discuss UC’s importance to communities throughout California, and to the state’s economic growth and development.
