The hosts of PBS Newshour, which airs locally at 3 and 6 p.m. on KQED TV and at 3 p.m. on KQED radio, will interview UC Berkeley astronomer Chung-Pei Ma on today’s show (Tuesday, Dec. 6). Ma and graduate student Nicholas McConnell discovered the two largest known supermassive black holes lurking at the centers of two giant elliptical galaxies 300 million light years from Earth.
