Protest in registrar’s office ends
About a dozen protesters ended their sit-in in the Office of the Registrar on Friday, before the building closed for the day.

Approximately a dozen protesters left the Office of the Registrar on their own accord Friday afternoon, after chanting and sitting in a public area of the office within Sproul Hall. The individuals, who were part of the group BAMN left at about 4:35 p.m., before the building’s 5:00 p.m. closing. Campus administrators had been in contact with the group earlier in the day. The protest, which was focused on increasing diversity in the University of California system, started at 1:30 p.m., after a noon rally.
