Food trucks, a slide, shave ice, cupcakes, a band, tables and hordes of UC Berkeley staff descended on Spieker Plaza Wednesday to devour, play, learn, chatter, meet and take a well-deserved break. The occasion? Summerfest 2014, the campus’s collective thank-you to staff and a main feature of Staff Appreciation Week, which lasts through Friday. Here are photos from the gathering:
