For Cal Walks at Work Day, a ‘flash mob’ on the glade
Health-minded members of the campus community converged at Memorial Glade during noon hour Friday for Cal Walks at Work Day.

Starting from locations scattered around campus, health-minded members of the UC Berkeley community converged at Memorial Glade during Friday’s noon hour for Cal Walks at Work Day.
The walkers wore t-shirts and bore posters reading “Keep Calm and Walk On.” But when they got to the glade they stopped long enough to enjoy fruit refreshments and stage an open-air “Instant Recess Flash Mob.”
The take-away: make time each day to keep moving and to focus on wellness.
