In celebration of the diversity and creative energy of students and staff at the campus’s Student Learning Center, more than 200 turned out for the launch of “SLC Friday Jam” on Oct. 17. The two-hour event in the Cesar Chavez Student Center featured spoken word, rock and African dance performances, as well as Open Mic, a DJ and food. SLC is a global learning community of more than 7,000 student users, 300 student staff and 20 educators.
