December 11, 2014
In advance of today’s storm, UC Berkeley leadership sent out this message to the campus community:
As you probably already know, the Bay Area is bracing for a severe winter storm that is expected to bring heavy rain and wind beginning tonight and lasting into Thursday.
Some employees may experience difficulties coming to work due to school closure and related child-care needs or road closures due to flooding. Supervisors are asked to be mindful of individual employee needs and — subject to operational needs — to work with employees regarding alternatives as appropriate.
Instructors are asked to be flexible in providing accommodation to affected students.
