Watch: A conversation with Chancellor Dirks

On March 14, UC Berkeley Chancellor Nicholas Dirks hosted a live 45-minute webcast for alumni and parents of undergraduates.

Chancellor Dirks addressed questions submitted in advance while also outlining new developments in the area of undergraduate education at Berkeley, including major pushes in data science and in the arts. The chancellor also discussed plans to address the university’s financial needs and how it will continue to fulfill its public mission in an era of reduced state support.
