Six years ago, when Adora Svitak was 12, she gave a TED Talk on what grownups can learn from children.
Since then she has published a book; spoken at classrooms and conferences around the world; and been an advocate on literacy, gender issues and youth empowerment.
Now 18 and a sophomore at UC Berkeley, Svitak reflects, in a radio interview, on what it means to be “wise.”
Listen to the NPR audio interview with Svitak and watch her TED talk.
