Where to watch the final presidential debate

The public is invited to two free viewing parties at UC Berkeley to watch the broadcast of the third and final presidential debate Wednesday night.

electionbuttons-750Both the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive and the Institute of Governmental Studies’ library at Moses Hall will hold airings of the debate from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

BAMPFA is encouraging viewers to bring their own chairs and cushions to watch the debate on a jumbo, outdoor screen located on the corner of Oxford and Addison streets on the west edge of campus in downtown Berkeley.

Candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are expected to field questions about the economy, immigration, fitness for the presidency, foreign hot spots, the national debt and entitlement programs.
