For the next two weeks, students enrolled in arts and design courses all across the UC Berkeley campus will be showcasing  the work they’ve created this semester in dozens of exhibits, presentations, performances and design reviews.

Be it architecture, fine art, music, dance, new media, theater or design engineering, the accomplishments of Berkeley students will be on display, and students will be on hand to discuss their work in multiple locations. Most events are free and open to the public.

Projects from College of Environmental Design courses such as “Visual Representation And Drawing” and “Architecture & Urbanism Design Studio” will be presented. The Art Practice Department’s Senior Thesis Exhibition will show off outstanding undergraduate work.

The Department of Music is putting on its “Holiday Chorus Concert” and Symphony Orchestra presentations. And new works by emerging choreographers from Theater, Dance and Performance Studies and new compositions from Center for New Music and Audio Technologies will be performed.

And the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation will put on its Winter Design Showcase.

It’s a holiday bonanza for art and design at Berkeley.
