Police: Campus incident ends with one arrest, no injuries
A shelter-in-place order was lifted after investigators secured the site.

There was an altercation in Lower Sproul Plaza earlier this evening (Friday, Feb. 9). After the altercation, one individual produced a weapon and shot several rounds into the air at approximately 8:40 p.m. This was a lone actor, and there were no victims or additional shooters.
Police were already en route to the altercation and the suspect was quickly detained at 8:41.
Police searched and cleared the area. A shelter-in-place order for the area was lifted at 9:50 p.m. There will be additional police on campus tonight.
