Name: Shimon Kolkowitz (he/him)

Degrees: B.S., Stanford University, 2008; Ph.D., Harvard University, 2015

Research interests: I am an experimental atomic physicist and quantum scientist. My research focuses on developing new ways to use the precise measurement of atoms and atom-like systems to learn more about the laws of physics and to create useful sensing technologies.

Fun fact: I like to play tennis, I do the New York Times Crossword puzzle every day, and I am the father of two very curious and creative kids who keep me pretty busy.
