Cymbalism on campus … ba-da-BOOM!
Oh, the drums did bang and the cymbals clanged as percussionists from the University of California Marching Band spread out around campus on Thursday, getting in a bit of practice in advance of the influx of students for the new school year.

If you’d followed your ears on Thursday, you would have found members of the University of California Marching Band percussion section out practicing in the warm summer afternoon. Judging from the sounds emanating from the bass drums and cymbals, this year’s Cal-Band-GREAT!
