Cal Day 2010 to be held Saturday, April 17
Cal Day, the University of California, Berkeley's annual open house and preview day – to be held this year on Saturday, April 17 – offers visitors of all ages an inside look at the world’s leading public research university. Admission is free to all, including children who want to see a giant T. rex, families who want to explore campus museums, and prospective students looking for information on academic programs.

Cal Day, the University of California, Berkeley’s annual open house and preview day – to be held this year on Saturday, April 17 – offers visitors of all ages an inside look at the world’s leading public research university. Admission is free to all, including children who want to see a giant T. rex, families who want to explore campus museums, and prospective students looking for information on academic programs.
Cal Day hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Campus tours via a motorized cable car will be offered throughout the day. The open house also will feature lectures on ground-breaking research, performances by the Cal Band, and Pac-10 sports competitions.
Shuttle buses will ferry visitors from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Parking on campus is limited, but BART and AC Transit provide extensive options for public transportation.
