WHAT: A phone briefing for reporters on two new reports being released tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 10) from the University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Labor Research and Education on how the U.S. Senate and House health care proposals will impact Californians.
The first report looks at eligibility for Medicaid and subsidized coverage for Californians who are without health insurance, are covered in the individual market or are enrolled in unaffordable, job-based coverage. The second report analyzes health care costs under each of the bills for California families that would qualify for subsidies in the proposed health insurance exchanges.
