Following the success of UC Berkeley’s 2009 celebration of the “Year of Science,” the campus will continue free monthly public talks through 2010.
The Science@Cal series features world-renowned UC Berkeley scientists who present their work in a format accessible to a general audience. Upcoming topics include the influence of drugs on the brain, the way the brain processes our visual environment, the effects of climate change on Earth’s
environment and the search for planets orbiting other stars.
All talks will take place on the UC Berkeley campus on the third Saturday of the month at 11 a.m.
